Officiating in racquetball is sometimes more difficult than other sports because the official is external to the court. For official competition, the IRF uses a head official. In some situations, two additional associate officials (often called Line Judges) are used to make decisions if a player appeals the call. If both line judges overturn the head official’s call, the call is reversed. Our thanks to the many officials who help ensure that competition is fair!
