Last Friday, Marcelo Gómez Pacheco -President of the Costa
Rican Racquetball Board- was elected as the Comptroller of the
Costa Rican Olympic Committee for a period of four
years.
The Costa Rican Olympic President mentioned that Mr. Gómez
was elected by unanimous voting of all the Costa Rican Federations,
during the Electoral Assembly of the Costa Rican Olympic Committee,
as recognition of all the work, the Racquetball Board has
done through the last years.
The Costa Rican Racquetball Board want to communicate that
this appointment is a recognition of the effort of the players,
coaches, parents and Board's Directors, that with great enthusiasm,
dedication and mysticism give their best every day, in order to
make this discipline our sport, a space for the healthy competition
either high performance or recreational. Additionally, reinforce
its commitment to support and promote the sport among the
country.
