Colorado Springs, CO - At the International Racquetball
Federation's 16th World Championships, August 4-11, in the
Dominican Republic, 110 athletes from 22 countries competed for top
honors.
The IRF World Championships event is held biennially. South
Korea was the site in 2010, Ireland in 2008, and the Dominican
Republic in 2006. The event features individual competition in both
singles and doubles, followed by a team competition to cap off the
week and determine the World Champion title.
The Individual competition distributed 2013 World Games ranking
points and seeding positions, with Paola Longoria (Mexico) and
Rocky Carson (U.S.) attaining the top spots.
