XXIII Racquetball Worlds: Dates and Venue Confirmed

 

The International Racquetball Federation (IRF) is pleased to officially confirm the host site and dates for the XXIII IRF World Racquetball Championships.

The event will take place October 16–24, 2026, at G2 Sports Club in Temuco, Chile, bringing together the world’s top racquetball athletes to compete for world titles in one of the sport’s most prestigious international events.

More details regarding competition schedule, divisions, and official activities will be announced in the coming months.

XXXVII PAN AMERICAN RACQUETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026
Guatemala City, Guatemala

Guatemala City will host the XXXVII Pan American Racquetball Championships, one of the most important events on the continental calendar, taking place from March 27 to April 4, 2026.

Official International Qualifying Event

The championship will play a key role internationally, serving as the official qualifying and seeding event for two major multi-sport competitions:

  • XXV Central American and Caribbean Games – Santo Domingo 2026, to be held in the Dominican Republic from July 21 to August 2, 2026.

  • XIII South American Games – Santa Fe 2026, scheduled to take place in Argentina from September 12 to 26, 2026.

Maria Jose Vargas Nominated for The World Games Athlete of the Year 2025

The International Racquetball Federation is proud to announce that Maria Jose Vargas has been selected as the racquetball nominee for The World Games Athlete of the Year 2025 award.

This prestigious recognition highlights outstanding athletes from The World Games Chengdu 2025, bringing together 30 world-class candidates from different sports. The final winner will be decided entirely by public voting, giving fans around the world the opportunity to support their favorite athletes.

How to Vote

Voting follows a specific format and will only be valid if all rules are respected:

  • Voters must select two different candidates per voting session

  • First choice: 2 votes

  • Second choice: 1 vote

  • Votes can be cast once every 24 hours

  • Votes submitted for only one candidate will not be counted

Key Dates

  • January 26, 12:00 GMT: Halfway elimination — only the Top 10 athletes advance to the final stage (all votes reset to zero)

  • February 2, 12:00 GMT: Voting officially closes
